BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby appoints the individuals listed as per diem substitute teachers to be employed on an "as needed" basis:

Resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED that the probationary term of English Teacher, Michael Palmieri, shall be amended to terminate on August 30, 2020, based upon receipt of proof of tenure in a New York State public school district.

Resignation:

  • Ms. Jennifer Dell'olio, Teaching Assistant, Robert E. Bell Middle School, effective November 10, 2017.

Appointment: Probationary

  • Ms. Linda Ryan Dehejia, Student Life Coordinator, Horace Greeley High School, to a probationary appointment in the tenure area of Social Worker effective November 20, 2017 through November 19, 2021, subject to receipt of composite or overall annual professional performance review ratings pursuant to Education law Section 3012-c and/or 3012-d of either effective or highly effective in at least three (3) of the four (4) proceeding years, and if the probationer receives an ineffective composite or overall rating in the final year of the probationary period he or she shall not be eligible for tenure at that time.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby approved the attached extension of the Agreement for Services for Theresa Markley effective for the 2017/2018 school year, or earlier at the discretion of the Board of Education, and authorizes the Board President to execute this agreement.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the Contract with Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District for educational services for one student for the 2017-18 school year for the sum of $140,114.07, and authorizes the Board President to execute this Agreement.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes its President to sign a Consent & Release Agreement with the Town of New Castle regarding its Streetscape & Infrastructure Improvement Project, No. SSP-02, as presented to the Board at this meeting. A copy of said Agreement shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby appoints Louis Patack, Esq. as the Hearing Officer pursuant to Section 75 of the New York Civil Service Law, with respect to Employee No. 3704, and authorizes the Hearing Officer to hear evidence, make a transcript of proceedings and to issue a written report of his findings of fact and recommendations, including a disciplinary penalty, if any.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby suspends Employee No. 3704, without pay, commencing on November 16, 2017 for thirty (30) calendar days and then with pay during the pendency of these proceedings, if during a time when the employee would otherwise be paid.
