Policy 9005: Child Abuse Reporting

In recognition of its duty to protect the health, safety, and welfare of students, the Chappaqua Board of Education is committed to carrying out its part in implementing the State's Child Protective Service plan. In accordance with law, the District requires the reporting of suspected child abuse and maltreatment cases, including educational neglect, to the appropriate child protective services pursuant to regulations promulgated by the Superintendent of Schools.

The Superintendent of Schools shall disseminate this policy and regulations to all staff on an annual basis.
