Work Session regarding New Castle Form Based Code

Per Governor Cuomo’s executive order, in-person attendance at this meeting may not exceed 50 people.

1.    Call the Meeting to Order at 5:00 pm 

President Tipp called for a motion to open the public meeting/work session.

Motioned by Jane Kimmel Shepardson to open the public meeting/work session at 5:08 pm.  Seconded by Holly McCall.  Motion carried 5-0.

2.    Work Session – Town of New Castle Form Based Code

The Board discussed options for additional study of the impact the Town of New Castle’s proposed Form Based Code on District enrollment, facilities, safety and finances.  They reviewed recommendations for a school capacity evaluation by KG&D Architects, along with a proposal from ESI Consult Solutions to The Chazen Companies for analyses of the District with regard to creation of multipliers, enrollment projections and a fiscal impact analysis.

Motioned by Warren Messner to adjourn the meeting at 6:19 pm.  Seconded by Hilary Grasso.  Motion carried 5-0.
