Present:  Board of Education
    Warren Messner, President
    Jane Kimmel Shepardson, Vice President   
    Jeffrey Mester
    Victoria Tipp
Absent: Holly McCall

Staff Members:
    Christine Ackerman, Superintendent of Schools
    John Chow, Assistant Superintendent for Business
    Liisa Elsner, District Clerk

President Warren Messner called for a motion to convene the public meeting at 4:33 pm. 

Motioned by Victoria Tipp to convene the public meeting at 4:33 pm.  Seconded by Jane Kimmel Shepardson.  Motion carried 4-0.   Board member Holly McCall was absent.

1.      Call to Order

2.      Pledge of Allegiance

3.      Adjourn into Executive Session

BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Board of Education will adjourn into Executive Session to receive legal advice from counsel.

4.      Re-convene Public Meeting

Executive Session was held at the end of the meeting.

5.       Recommended Action:  Other

5.1    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby authorizes its President to sign an agreement with Accredited Surety and Casualty Company, Inc. dated April 25, 2019, as presented to the Board at this meeting for the completion of project work at the Seven Bridges and Robert E. Bell Middle Schools.  A copy of said agreement shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting. 

Motioned by Victoria Tipp to approve Item 5.1 as stated above.  Seconded by Jane Kimmel Shepardson.  Motion carried 4-0.  Board Member Holly McCall was absent.

5.2    BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the letter A Message From the Board of Education in the May 2019 School Budget Newsletter.

Motioned by Victoria Tipp to approve Item 5.2 as stated above.  Seconded by Jeffrey Mester.  Motion carried 4-0.  Board Member Holly McCall was absent.
