BE IT RESOLVED that, due to increased need in the area of Social Work, the Board of Education hereby increases by .2 FTE an existing .8 FTE Social Worker position. This action results in the creation of a 1.0 FTE Social Worker position at Horace Greeley High School effective August 30, 2018.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby authorize a discretionary leave of absence, without pay, for Brigitte Pugliese, effective August 13, 2018 through August 24, 2018.

5.3 Resolution to confirm tax rolls and authorize tax levy.
WHEREAS, the Board of Education has been authorized by the voters of the School District at the Annual Meeting to raise for the budget for the 2018-19 school year a sum not to exceed $122,559,988 for School District purposes and a sum not to exceed $3,153,042 for Library purposes; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE Board hereby fix the equalized tax rates by towns and confirm the extension of the taxes as they appear on the following described tax roll. (Attached document must have Date and Hour of Adoption recorded.)
5.4 Resolution issuing a tax warrant. (Attached document must indicate vote and signature of each board member.)
5.5 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves an Agreement for Health & Welfare Services with Bedford Central School District for 13 students at a rate of $1,087.12 per student, effective September 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 and authorizes the Board President to execute this Agreement.
5.6 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the Summer Transportation Contract with Chappaqua Transportation, effective July 2, 2018 to August 31, 2018 in the amount of $212,944.52, and authorizes the Board President and Superintendent to execute this agreement.
5.7 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to execute a Release and Settlement Agreement regarding educational services provided to Student No. 601756, dated August 8, 2018, as presented to the Board at this meeting. A copy of said agreement shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
5.8 WHEREAS, the Board of Education had requested bids for Food Service Management Program Operation to manage the school lunch program, effective September 1, 2018 in Bid #B2018-14; and
WHEREAS, an evaluation was done by John Chow, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Michael Trnik, District Purchasing Agent; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education awards the bid for Food Service Management Program Operation to Aramark Educational Services, based upon the recommendation made by John Chow, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Michael Trnik, District Purchasing Agent, as the lowest responsible bidder responsive to the specifications as stipulated in the bid documents for Bid #B2018-14.
And be it further resolved that the BOE President is authorized to execute the contract with Aramark Educational Services, a copy of which contract is incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
5.9 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves CCSD Bid #B2018-11: Athletic Field Improvements at Robert E. Bell Middle School – recommended renewal award to Bradhurst Site Construction Corp. in the amount of $348,295.00 for the 2018-19 school year.
5.10 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the Consent Judgment to Jagar Realty for assessment years 2013 through 2016 in the amount of $12,842.76.
5.11 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the contract with Shelly DuBose of Refined Practices Consulting for professional development during the 2018-19 school year, in the amount of $2,200 per day, not to exceed 25 days, and authorizes the Board President to execute this Agreement.
5.12 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education approves the contract with Heidi Hayes Jacobs of Curriculum Designers, Inc. professional development during the 2018-19 school year, in the amount of $4,000 per day and authorizes the Board President to execute this Agreement.
5.13 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves the terms of a Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement with the Chappaqua Congress of Teachers (CCT) bargaining unit regarding fellowships and early retirement stipends, as presented to the Board at this meeting. A copy of the SMOA shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
5.14 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves the terms of a Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement with the Chappaqua Congress of Teachers (Teaching Assistants’ Unit) regarding Article 4(G): Summer In-Service Training, as presented to the Board at this meeting. A copy of the SMOA shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
5.15 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves the terms of a Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement with the Chappaqua Congress of Teachers , Covering Employees with the Titles of Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Licensed Practical Nurse and Physical Therapist regarding Article 3(E): Overtime – health related emergences, as presented to the Board at this meeting. A copy of the SMOA shall be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting.
5.16 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approve a Contract with Fielding Nair International (FNI) for additional construction administration services for phase two of the bond construction, and authorizes the Board President to execute this Agreement.
5.17 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves a budget transfer of $75,000.00 for payment regarding an electronic barrier arm at the Route 117 entrance and an electronic ID card printer for Horace Greeley High School, and authorizes the Board President to execute this transfer.
5.18 BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education accepts a gift of artwork by illustrator Eric Velasquez from the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival to the Robert E. Bell Middle School. The artwork is valued at $1,800.

Resolution:
BE IT RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that the Board of Education hereby appoints Linda Langiulli as Interim Principal at Seven Bridges Middle School for the period from August 13, 2018 through June 30, 2019 or the commencement of employment of a new Interim Principal for such school, whichever sooner occurs, at the per diem salary of $800.00 (pending fingerprint clearance and background check); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board President is hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with Ms. Languilli setting forth the terms and conditions of her employment as Interim Principal at Seven Bridges Middle School, a copy of which agreement will be incorporated by reference within the minutes of this meeting (pending fingerprint clearance and background check).
