Resolution:

"BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby authorizes the attached Agreements for Services for the individuals and agencies listed below effective for the 2013/2014 school year, or earlier at the discretion of the Board of Education":

All About Kids / Mid Island Therapy, and

Colleen O'Sullivan.

Resolution:

"WHEREAS, the Board of Education for reasons of economy and efficiency, has determined that it is appropriate to abolish certain pedagogical positions in the District;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby abolishes the following positions, effective close of business on June 30, 2013."

4.0 FTE Elementary positions,

1.0 FTE Art position,

1.4 FTE Foreign Language positions

1.0 FTE Music position, and

1.5 FTE Special Education positions.

Resolution:

"BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education has determined that the services of the following individuals shall be discontinued at close of business on June 30, 2013 in accordance with Section 3013 of the Education Law as they are determined to be the least senior teachers in their respective tenure areas, they do not have tenure or probationary status in any additional tenure area created by Part 30 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, and thus have no right to transfer to any position in a different tenure area; and they shall be placed upon a preferred eligible list for recall to a position for a period of seven (7) years from the effective date of layoff pursuant to Education Law Section 3013; and each individual will be notified in writing by the District Clerk of the information contained in this resolution, including placement of their name on a preferred eligible list for re-employment:"

Resolution to declare speech device obsolete.

WHEREAS, the District owns one unit of Chat PC - Silk w/PCS (Neospeech), a Chat PC Speech device with case, which is no longer useful or necessary for school district purposes and is of no value to the School District;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby declares such equipment to be surplus property and of no value to the School District and authorizes the disposal of such equipment in a prudent manner in accordance with law.
