"BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby appoints the individuals listed as per diem substitute teachers to be employed on an "as needed" basis":

Resolution:

"BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education ratifies the supplemental memorandum of agreement between the district and the Chappaqua Congress of Teachers, dated February 28, 2013, regarding the special leave without pay to Jenny Gieras from the last day of her disability through June 30, 2014. A copy of said agreement shall be incorporated by reference into the minutes of this meeting."

Approve a gift to Grafflin Elementary School from Exxon Mobil, courtesy of Larry Milton of New Castle Auto Center, in the amount of $500, for the purpose of additions to the math and science programs for the 2013-14 school year.

Approve a gift to Westorchard Elementary School from Exxon Mobil, courtesy of Larry Milton of New Castle Auto Center, in the amount of $500, for the purpose of non-fiction books to support kindergarten to second grade science program for the 2013-14 school year.

Approve a gift to Westorchard Elementary School from the Westorchard PTA, in the amount of $1898 for a storage shed, including gravel, frame and foundation, for playground supplies for school year 2012-13.

Approve a matching grant gift from TIAA-CREF and A. P. Miller for a total of $1,000 to be used for equipment for Performing Arts/Music for 2013-14 school year.

Approve lease-purchase agreement through New York State Contract for VOIP, Voice Over Internet Protocol at a cost of $127,176 annually for five years, with option to purchase equipment at the end of five years for $1.

ADDENDUM
May 8, 2013

 

5.15

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board hereby ratifies the attached provisions of the May 3, 2013 Memorandum of Agreement executed by the negotiators for the District and the CCT Bargaining Units (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Licensed Practical Nurse and Physical Therapist); and hereby approves those expenditures necessary to implement the provisions.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby ratifies the Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement with the Chappaqua Congress of Teachers (CCT) in regard to the Teacher Action Research Project for the 2013-14 school year, a copy of which is included by reference in the minutes of this meeting.
