Visitors Present:

Representatives of the Chappaqua PTA, school PTAs, building administrators, faculty, and other interested citizens.

 

President Tipp called the meeting to order at 9:15 p.m., following the election results.

Alyson Kiesel offered the following resolution,

"BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education accepts a gift in the amount of $25,000 from the Chappaqua School Foundation to fund professional development in the areas of innovation, technology and space usage at Horace Greeley High School."

Karen Visser seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

1.2

Jeffrey Mester offered the following Resolution to execute a sole source provider agreement with Fielding Nair International to provide unique services in the areas noted.

BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Board of Education Policy 6085 and based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and supporting documentation, the Board of Education finds that Fielding Nair International, LLC provides unique services regarding design and professional development in the areas of innovation, technology and space usage.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Education authorizes the Board President to execute the proposal for services of Fielding Nair International, LLC, dated May 17, 2013, to provide professional development in the areas of innovation, technology and space usage at Horace Greeley High School in an amount not to exceed $25,000.

Randall Katchis seconded. The motion passed unanimously.

Victoria Tipp moved to adjourn. Karen Visser seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
