Appointments:

Annette Hawkins - Computer Lab Aide at Seven Bridges Middle School, effective September 1, 2015. Her salary will be $28,115.

Claudine Howson - Office Assistant-Automated Systems, 10 month, at Horace Greeley High School, effective date pending authorization from Westchester County Department of Human Resources. Her salary will be $47,991.

Lia Milton - Teacher Aide at Roaring Brook Elementary School, 24 hours per week, effective September 1, 2015. Her salary will be $16.00 per hour.

Shari Zinser McLoughlin - Teacher Aide at Westorchard Elementary School, 28.75 hours per week, effective September 1, 2015. Her salary will be $16.00 per hour.

Resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education hereby increases the hours of Cristiana Sternkopf, Teacher Aide at Roaring Brook Elementary School to 31.25 hours per week, effective September 1, 2015.

Approve Agreement with Anderson Center for Autism, effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 for provision of a special education program based on the New York State Education Department and the Office of Children and Family Services rates as outlined in Appendix A of the Agreement.

Approve Agreement with The Summit School for Educational Services for September 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 per interim SED rates, $31,270 per student and additional $30,000 if health management para is mandated by the IEP. Rates are for students for 10-month program, and will be adjusted upon approval of new rate by Commissioner of Education.

BE IT RESOLVED that, the Board of Education authorizes the transfer of $595,000 from the School Lunch Fund to the Capital Fund for the renovation of the Horace Greeley High School Cafeteria.

Moved by Alyson Gardner, seconded by Victoria Tipp to authorize the transfer of $595,000 from the School Lunch Fund to the Capital Fund for the renovation of the Horace Greeley High School Cafeteria, as presented. Motion carried 5-0.

Approve gift from The Greeley Sports Boosters to the Athletic Program in the amount of $890.85 to purchase video camcorders.

Moved by Alyson Gardner, seconded by Victoria Tipp to approve gift from The Greeley Sports Boosters to the Athletic Program in the amount of $890.85 to purchase video camcorders, as presented. Jeffrey Mester thanked The Greeley Sports Boosters for the generous gift. The recordings will be for instructional use in the classroom. Motion carried 5-0.

Facilities

Jeffrey Mester toured the buildings. He stated that the entire summer punch list has been completed except for one or two items. The lights in the cafeteria at Horace Greeley will be finished some time during the week. The fields look great. Jeffrey went on to thank Joe Gramando, the custodial and maintenance staff for all their work this summer.
