Call to Order

President Tipp convened the public board meeting at 8:02 am.

Moved by Warren Messner to convene the public board meeting at 8:02 am. Seconded by Alyson Gardner. Motion passed 4-0. Board Vice President Jeffrey Mester was not present.

BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Board Policy 2065 the Board of Education waives the second reading of Policy 5054: Disability Discrimination Policy for Students and adopts Policy 5054 after one reading.

Moved by Warren Messner to approve the Resolution to waive the second Reading of Policy 5054: disability Discrimination Policy for Students and adopt Policy 5054 after one reading in accordance with Board Policy 2065. Seconded by Alyson Gardner. Motion passed 4-0. Board Vice President Jeffrey Mester was not present.

Motion to go into Executive Session to discuss matters regarding proposed, pending or current litigation.

Moved by Alyson Gardner to adjourn into Executive Session at 8:08 am to discuss matters regarding proposed, pending or current litigation. Seconded by Victoria Tipp. Motion passed 4-0. Board Vice President Jeffrey Mester was not present.

Board member Jane Kimmel Shepardson departed the meeting at 8:20 am.

Moved by Warren Messner to re-convene public meeting at 8:40 am. Seconded by Alyson Gardner. Motion passed 3-0. Board Vice President Jeffrey Messner and Board Member Jane Kimmel Shepardson were not present.
