Office of Public Information
Mr. David Hayes
Public Information Assistant
The Office of Public Information serves as a liaison between the District and the news media, and shares with the community some of the everyday successes that take place within Chappaqua schools. This office also responds to requests from the public for general information about the District and its schools.
- eNews - a bi-weekly recap of what's happening in Chappaqua's schools.
- Alumni News - read about the many accomplishments of those that walked the halls of Horace Greeley High School.
- Knowledge Cafe Video Archive - Videos from open forums that bring together the community to discuss educational issues an informal, face-to-face setting.
Board of Education Meetings as well as District events and announcements are highlighted on Cablevison Channel 77 and Verizon Channel 47, and can be streamed online at www.nccmc.com. In addition, you may find coverage in the The Chappaqua Daily Voice, The Journal News, Chappaqua-Mount Kisco Patch, Hudson Valley Reporter, and The Examiner.
The District uses the AlertNow* Communication service to send emergency, general and weather-related notifications to our families via email, voice and text messaging. The AlertNow system pulls its contact information for the Infinite Campus student management database, so families are automatically included in the notification system once student enrollment is complete. To make any changes to your contact preferences, please log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Alumni and community members are also encouraged to sign up to receive e-mails to receive school-related information.
*The AlertNow communication service is provided by a third party. The District disclaims any liability regarding the provision of such service by AlertNow.
