The proposed budget of $119,571,688 reflects an increase of $1,346,400 or 1.14%. Dr. McCann reviewed personnel reductions and additions. Mr. Chow noted that Chappaqua ranks 16th out of 46 districts in Westchester in per pupil costs. He explained the expenditures and revenues and the percentage of the budget each category represents. Mr. Chow noted the allowable Tax Cap for the District is 1.60%. Stating that we are proposing an increase below the Tax Cap at .72%.
